Project Description
Tasu Construction led the design and construction of this 21,726 sq. ft. supportive housing complex in Richmond, BC, providing safe, comfortable, and accessible housing for the community. The three-storey modular building accommodates 40 residents in independent suites, including four fully accessible units, and offers a range of shared amenities such as common lounges, laundry facilities, storage spaces, a commercial-grade kitchen, medical rooms, and thoughtfully designed outdoor areas for recreation and social engagement.
To accelerate the project timeline and optimize costs, the modular units were manufactured offsite under controlled conditions and then transported to Richmond for on-site assembly and installation. This approach allowed for efficient construction without compromising quality, delivering a modern, sustainable, and fully functional modular building that meets the diverse needs of its residents.
