Modular School Addition Takes Shape In The Fraser Valley:
It’s been a busy and productive spring for Tasu Construction, as yet another multi-storey modular building has successfully completed the craning phase—this time for a new school addition in the Fraser Valley.

Over the past few months, Tasu Construction has been working in close collaboration with Turner Construction, Make Projects and ROC Modular to deliver this much-needed educational facility. The project is part of an ongoing effort to meet the growing demand for school infrastructure in British Columbia, particularly in rapidly expanding communities where student populations are outpacing current classroom capacity.
Thanks to the speed and efficiency of modular construction, the building’s core structure was assembled in just three days. With the structure now fully in place, Tasu’s team is transitioning to the next phase of construction, which includes completing the mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as interior and exterior finishings.

Upon completion, the school addition will feature eight new elementary classrooms. This expansion will help alleviate overcrowding, improve learning conditions, and provide a welcoming environment for education.
This project is another example of how modular construction can provide fast, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for public infrastructure needs.
