Project Description
Tasu partnered with Shxw’ōwhámél LandSea Limited Partnership (SLLP) on the construction and operation of a workforce accommodation camp near Hope, BC. Sqémél Lá:lém, which translates to “Pit House Lodge,” can expand to 600 rooms, with a final camp capacity of 488 rooms.
Together with SFN, Tasu Construction was committed to maximizing meaningful employment and training opportunities through several initiatives. As a result, Indigenous members represented 20% and 40% of the construction and operations workforce.
